Question by clipsetunr: How can I create a SMALL summer-time lawn cutting service?
I’m working at a golf course this summer and will get done at 1pm. I would love to be able to start a small lawn cutting service in my neighborhood in my free afternoons. Nothing big, I wouldn’t be buying mowers or anything, just using the customers. How should I get started and how can I gain customers legally (not putting flyers in mailboxes)?

Maybe pass out some flyers to local bussinesses to hang up. Like a community center around your house? I’m not sure what the laws are around you but you may want to spend a few day’s walking door-to-door explaining to people what your doing. Even if you only get a few custormers, they might suggest you to their neighbors or any elder people who are looking for someone to cut their lawn.
