Question by alicia: my dog is seriously scared of lawn tools/ equipment, how can i help her?
she starts shaking really bad when the lawn guys mow the yard,they also take a blower and blow the patio off. she shakes and starts yelping. ive tried going to the door and talking sweet to her but she is just scared to death. when the lawn guys come i have to put a blanket on her,and cover her head and i just hold her and talk really sweet. how can i get her to calm down and not be so scared? she is 5 years old and a mixed breed about 60 pounds,if that helps
she likes the blanket over her head,thats how she sleeps and as soon as i throw a blanket on her she calms down a little bit

You should have introduced her to loud noises and gradually she would learn to ignore them..
