I need to overseed my lawn – it is thin and over run with crab grass and weeds. what is the best grass seed to use?

Don’t be fooled. Most grass seed is annual seed, that means it’s won’t last for more then one year. Make sure you read the bag, and get something that is more then 50% perennial!!!! I would wait till spring to plant it, rake the soil, sprinkle the seed, and if you can…cover with fresh soil, even bagged soil. If you need to plant now….get the seed mixed with newspaper (called grass patch), it will keep the seed warm, and you’ll have a better chance of it growing
