This version of Roundup works much better than the cheaper ones (like you find at Home Depot for $7. Within a few hours I noticed the weeds dying with this products. Just wish it was less expensive.

I am renting a Townhouse. The homeowners have indicated that they would do something with the yard…but never have. i took a weedwhacker to the forest of weeds in the back and within 2 weeks they had grown back even more fierce than before. I want Full Metal Jacket on them with this Roundup Extended Control. Within 3 or 4 hours the thick green weed was cut down to a meek brown pile of deadness. I couldn’t be more thrilled. I finally have footing in the backyard. I will forever champion this product. Thank goodness for Roundup.

I have not applied this long enough to know what the long-term prevention of new weeds is, but it definitely kills existing weeds if you spray the entire plant. I’ve sprayed plenty of weeds and grass in my flowerbed and driveway and on a hot day, they’ll be brown and wilting within hours. I’m not too comfortable spraying poisonous chemicals all over the place, but if you have to do it, this definitely seems to achieve the job.
It should be noted that this is not a battery operated sprayer. Even bottles of Natures Miracle come with a battery operated sprayer (and batteries!), but not this. You are required to pull back on a hand piston and hold it for two seconds. Then it will give you enough spraying power to cover a few square feet. Then you’ll have to re-prep the pump. It would be fantastic if this came with one of those very simple battery operating pumps, even if it added a buck to the price.
==One Month Update==
Nearly a month later and the mulch/flower beds I sprayed this in to kill the existing weeds (man of which were a foot or taller) are still bare. Nothing has grown back in their place.

I have a large patio and walkway in my yard made of Boston Pavers. Needless to say, weeds are coming through the cracks. Not one to resort to chemicals, I had no choice but to try this when my vinegar did not work. Not only did it start to work immediately, but it also prevents weeds for 4 months. This container with the spray is great. The con for this item is of course, the cost. I paid 23.00 at WalMart plus tax. It was not enough to do the whole patio so I need to buy another gallon.
4 stars because of the cost.

I recently paid over $1000 to a company to cut down weeds from my gardens around my house. They suggested I buy Roundup to kill the upstarts so I can wait till next year to plant new plants. I spent the afternoon spraying, as directed, the tiny weed growth. The Roundup killed a few weeds, but most are vigorously returning. I must continue to pay someone to cut these down again, since they have regrown up to one foot already. I really expected this to kill the weeds, but not so.
