Grasses for the Masses
As part of Ware Academy’s marine biology program, 8th-graders chose to mentor 3rd-graders by participating in the Chesapeake Bay Foundation’s “Grasses for the Masses.” Both grades have been harvesting the Bay grass wild celery from seed for about 10 weeks now.
