Turbo Lawnmower
My brother had to make this for his engineering class. I’m not sure what he did or how he did it, but I do know he used a snowmobile tranny. PS the dog did come back and it has four legs…..several people wonder about that

Question by WeedInUrLawn: Why is my lawn mower shooting smoke out the side?
after i bought some oil (i made sure it’s the right kind), i put it in my lawn mower. I started my mower and it started to shoot smoke out the side a little bit so i stopped and realized i put in too much oil. I then tipped my mower over and took out a large portion of the oil. I started it up again and it still smoked out the side but eventually it stopped after a couple of seconds(30ish). I then proceeded mowing and after a while it stopped so i checked the oil and there wasn’t enough oil. I put in some more oil and then when i started it up again it started to shoot the smoke out the side again. What’s goign on?

@fy2player6790 just to let everyone know…… the only cheap way of turboing a lawnmower would be to smog pump it. i race my mower and im pulling about 5-7 pounds of boost from my 13hp techumsee. and what they mean by a torque converter for a lawnmower is the seperated pulleys!!! if you own a shop i suggest you either close it down or learn wtf you are doing. thanks!!

@fy2player6790 im not sure were talking about the same torque converter…im talking about a torque converter that a snowmobile has where the two pulleys get bigger and smaller witht eh change in engine rpm. i believe your talking about the torque converter in a car transmission.

@fy2player6790 you could mount a torque converter verically, but i never said to put a torque converter on it. i said it looks like a motor cycle or dirt bike trans cause snowmobiles dont shift. and your the one to call me a dumbass you stupid piece of shit

that cant be a snowmobile trans, sownmobile transmissons dont shift, they use a continuousy variable belt system. that looks like a trans from a motorcycle or dirt bike
